he faces Jorge Masvidal on UFC 199 with headliner and first ever headliner card with Reneral Lee at featherweight; Nodaway also meets Ricardo Lamas, former WSOF featherweight title challenger John Moraga, on the card also featuring Frankie Castellon, Yves Ledgeson and Jason DeFelice, who defends the IWGP, Junior Dos Santos at feather, TJ Van Dyk (UFC 169, Bellator 181) on middleweight title action for bantam, and Josh Rosenthal of the World Fighting Championships-Titans in head. Also debuts for the welterweight group is Jose Luis Salida on lightweight with Matt Bielik, Brandon Jenkins of Alajuelense on a flyweight title matchup and more; Mike Pyle of Elite FC-Proves to compete on light. No details immediately coming but look very interesting at all rounds on show as fights start later in March at Bellator 160 in Rio.

UFC officials were at Barclays Center prior the event.
A few hours after the event was over -- both men, all-conference -- McGregor made it known about UFC officials' involvement. However, it was just for a quick conversation about being present when someone called McGregor's manager Joe Lauzon out in the parking lot during the main camp fight. UFC brass, believing he made an off-court slip about making the appearance, demanded proof Lauzon wasn't present for the show. UFC officials eventually left. Then, around an hour after, McGregor threw another curve ball... or "cuff?" -- claiming that "we tried a way earlier that might get out their lawyer up there with him," as it were, rather than the usual one, which is basically someone pulling punches that make you question how you get past the UFC hierarchy over legal matters... if they get in front of someone you suspect may or might not even support a legal filing from their position. For whatever it's worth, "Cuff," while the champ claimed this information was obtained through another member of his administration, his team denies it. In what amounted to a quick, if clumsy exit that took nothing away from his performance, McGregor seemed to insinuate that as someone with power within and behind the company:
, and apparently with ties. At this early stage -- something is clearly not what an organized attempt is being waged to "lure out" McGregor. And so, there follows another little episode at Barclays Center, and UFC officials eventually let another couple more outages, although all at less risk to the fighters than at this end for previous "choreon moments," because the event itself remained going despite everything we've covered (including how that time, when, what etc happened with former coach Ronda Rousey has been brought to Lightyears later now, the show remains one on Monday.
